María de los Ángeles Sánchez Muñoz​

PhD student on Microbial Fuel Cell Pilot Plant for Slurry Depuration​
Graduated in Chemistry from the University of Murcia in 2025. She is currently working as PhD student in the project Integral Slurry
Valorization through the Combined Use of Microbial Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Fuel Cells, and Microalgae Technology (PID2024-162882OB-I00), funded by the Spanish State Research Agency.​

Within this project, she is responsible for the start-up and operation of a large-scale microbial fuel cell and the acclimation of the microalga Scenedesmus almeriensis to increasing concentrations of pig slurry, with the aim of developing an integrated continuous treatment system.
