Technician

Macarena Brotóns Pascual

Technician in Pharmacy and Parapharmacy since 2014, and senior Technician in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control since 2017. 

Work experience in pharmacy both in attention and dispensing of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products, and in advice in the pharmacy office as well as advice on parapharmaceutical products via online and preparation of online sales orders. As a laboratory technician, she has worked in various sectors such as sample preparation and visualisation for SEM with results reporting in English and preparation of more complex samples for other microscopic systems such as TEM and XPS during an Erasmus + stay in England at Johnson Matthey Technology Centre located in Sonning Common. She has also worked in the microbiology laboratory, preparing specific culture media, colony counting, waste management and performing specific assays. She has also worked in a physico-chemical analysis laboratory. 

Currently, She complements her work as a laboratory technician in the research team of Green Chemical Process Engineering with the completion of her studies in Chemistry degree at the University UNED.
