Dra. Francisca Tomás Alonso

Francisca Tomas Alonso is assistant professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Murcia (Spain). She graduated in Chemistry (1980) from the University of Murcia (UMU, Spain). PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia, (1990), with the qualification of Cum Laude, in collaboration con the Catalysis and Petrol Chemistry Institute of the Superior Council of Scientific Investigations. ​

She has participated in numerous research projects, financed by public entities (Seneca Foundation, Ministry of Science and Innovation, European Coal and Steel Commission), as well as in contracts with various private entities. She has published more than 50 research papers in international journals of impact, and is the author of almost a hundred contributions in International Congresses, as well as a patent. She has also been referee of international journals, such as Energy and Fuels or Environmental Science and Technology.​
