Full Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Murcia (UM, Spain). She graduated in Chemistry (2000) and Chemical Engineering (2004) from the University of Murcia, where she was awarded with the First National Award in Chemical Engineering by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEC). PhD (European Doctorate) in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia, with the qualification of Cum Laude, with the distinction of Extraordinary Doctorate Award (2008) She has made postdoctoral stays at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands), the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom) and the Technical University of Cartagena (Spain). From her research work, more than 200 publications have been derived in the fields of Engineering, Chemistry, Environment and Biotechnology. She has published has also published 3 European patent, some of them are being exploited by companies and 3 national patents.
Her h index = is 45. She has directed 6 PhD in Chemical Engineering. He has participated in more than 35 Internation and national projects being the main researcher in more than 20 of them.
She is the Responsible researcher for the interuniversity group (UM-UPCT) of research "GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGIES" since 2013 and the research group "GREEN CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEERING" since 2015. In the period 2014-2016, she served as General Coordinator of Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the Vice-Rectorate of Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the University of Murcia.
