Dra. Antonia Pérez de los Ríos

Full Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Murcia (UM, Spain). She graduated in Chemistry (2000) and Chemical Engineering (2004) from the University of Murcia, where she was awarded with the First National Award in Chemical Engineering by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEC). PhD (European Doctorate) in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia, with the qualification of Cum Laude, with the distinction of Extraordinary Doctorate Award (2008) She has made postdoctoral stays at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands), the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom) and the Technical University of Cartagena (Spain). From her research work, 162 publications have been derived, 97 of which in indexed in JCR journals with a high impact index in the fields of Engineering, Chemistry, Engineering, Environment, Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology, Chemistry, Applied and Polymer Science. 

She has contributed more than 150 communications in international congresses in national congresses, presented in oral sessions (oral communication or invited paper) or posters. It has also published a European patent, which is being exploited by a national company (Puertas Padilla SL) and 2 national patents. He has published 14 book chapters, invited by the publishers Elsevier, Springer and Nova and has published a book in the Elsevier publishing house entitled "Ionic Liquids in Separation Technology". 

Her works have received 4.804 citations (h index = 41, Scopus). She has directed 6 PhD in Chemical Engineering. She is a member of the editorial committees of the journals Current Green Chemistry, Pure and Applied Chemistry, Advances in Research and American Chemical Science Journal and guest editor of the journals Chemical Engineering & Technology, Journal of Chemistry and International Journal of Chemical Engineering. She collaborates as a regular reviewer of 20 journals collected in the ISI-JCR. He has participated in the preparation and development of research projects of different entities: 1 european project, 19 national projects and 14 research contracts with private companies, being the main researcher in 8 research projects and 7 of these contracts. Specifically, the research projects of which she has been a principal investigator have been financed through 4 national and 4 regional programs. 

She has been member of the Scientific Committee of 4 international congresses and member of the Organizing Committee of two congresses. She is the Responsible researcher for the interuniversity group (UM-UPCT) of research "GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE CHEMICAL
TECHNOLOGIES" since 2013 and the research group "GREEN CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEERING" since 2015. In the period 2014-2016, she served as General Coordinator of Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the Vice-Rectorate of Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the University of Murcia.
